RAAC’s 21st Annual Fall Art Tour: One of the Best Art Weekends of the Year!
The 21st annual Fall Art Tour is fast approaching, and Rappahannock County’s talented artists are busy creating new artwork in a wide range of genres. This year’s Fall Art Tour is. November 7-8, 2026, 10 am – 5 pm both days.
Visitors will once again enjoy the main gallery; it’s a wonderful opportunity to get a taste of what you’ll see on the Tour! World class art from many local artists, coupled with perfect autumn weather and stunning fall foliage, make for a fabulous getaway in the countryside.
Visitors traverse our peaceful villages and winding back roads on a self-guided tour to the galleries and studios of their choice. With so much art in so many different mediums and styles, there’s something to please everyone!
The Inn at Little Washington has once again donated a spectacular dinner for two! A huge thank you to the Inn for their continued and generous support of this year’s Fall Art Tour.

A dinner for two at the Inn at Little Washington is a gift to look forward to and once again the Inn has donated an extraordinary experience in support of the Fall Art Tour!

We are deeply grateful for their continued generosity and for the many ways our local businesses help make the Fall Art Tour a special celebration of the artists and creative community of Rappahannock County.
The Main Tour Gallery is back again!
This year the impressive Main Gallery returns to the Washington School in Washington, VA. Representative artworks from all the studios and galleries on the Tour will be displayed together in one place – it’s a great place to begin your Tour, to see samples of the work you’ll find at all of our venues.
The remarkable breadth and depth of our local artists’ work will be on display with paintings in all genres and mediums, furniture, drawings and engravings, sculpture, stained glass, ceramics, mosaics, photography, printmaking, woodworking, jewelry, bookbinding, and glasswork.
Our gallery walls will showcase the collaborative creations of talented student artists. Produced by county school students and their art teachers, these extraordinary pieces offer inspiration to local and distant visitors. This comprehensive display is a visible celebration of the power of the fine arts and the meaningful connections they foster throughout our community and beyond.
Highlights of the Self-guided Tour
The Tour will have 27 studios and 7 galleries, featuring more than 80 local artists. It is a rare treat to be invited into the private studios of Tour artists – to meet artists in person, see where they work, and learn about their creative process. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to take home a piece of art, with a deeper understanding of the artist’s inspiration and technique.

Plan Your Own Tour
A downloadable tour map will be available on this website in late October and will also be emailed in the Tour newsletter. Maps will be available on the Tour weekend at the Main Gallery, the Rappahannock Visitors Center, and other local businesses.
