In my studio and kiln on Juba Mountain I make pottery to be used in the home. Beauty is important in our daily lives. We put art on the walls and in the ground; we put flowers in the garden and in a special vase. When we wash our berries, and take that first morning sip of tea or coffee, the vessels we use should bring beauty and joy to our lives.
I will be joined this year by potter Virginia Pates and painter Clive Pates.
