The studio offers classes and workshops taught by local artists in a variety of artistic mediums including oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting, mosaic, collage, bookmaking, embroidery, and more.

Welcome Rappahannock County artist Mary Ann Sevick Welcome Rappahannock County artist Mary Ann Sevick to the Fall Art Tour! Sevick is a functional potter primarily focusing on wheel-thrown, stoneware vessels. She glaze-fires her pottery in an electric kiln when vibrant colors are desired, and uses a gas kiln for softer, earthier finishes. Mary Ann particularly enjoys the Zen nature of throwing pots and, in the words of Bernard Leach, the manner in which pottery “engages the head, the heart, and the hands”.

Mary Ann's studio was built in 2024- 2025, and is surrounded by perennial gardens and contains a single electric wheel, slab roller, and kiln. New to the Fall Art Tour in 2026, Mary Ann extends a heartfelt welcome to her studio.

See more of her work on our website at www.fallarttour.org! And mark your calendars for this year's Fall Art Tour - our 21st! - on November 7-8, 2026.

His inspiration began with his grandfather's Windsor chair, which he was blessed to receive when his grandfather passed away.

In this video, Rengery bends wood that has been steamed to soften it for the frame of a chair. Visit his studio on this year's Tour to see his chairs and watch him at work; he does demonstrations during fall Art Tour weekend.
