Art has been an important love in my life from a young age. However, the direction of my academic life was architecture where I spent six years of undergrad and graduate study in Poland and then in the U.S.

My deep conviction about the essential relationship between man-made, built structures and nature has been a constant guide in my approach to architecture professionally.

My camera has been a constant companion I’ve used to record what my soul and eyes see. And now I’m enjoying expressing that through fine art on canvas or paper with brush, knife or pencil. This has opened a new phase of my passion and the perception of my surroundings.

Sharing myself with others through visual expression is a blessing that I cherish with gratitude. The beautiful signatures of our local landscapes are very inspiring with their balance, harmony, colors and usefulness. And I’m on a journey to find the best way to express that for the inspiration of others.

I’m committed to preserving all I see while expressing my heart. And, I am grateful for the opportunity to be a student again at my age, for the generous encouragement of several local artist friends, and to learn new skills and wisdom from our local masters.
