Included in public and private collections throughout the world, Ruthie Windsor-Mann is a juried artist/signature member of several art societies, through which she has received many individual awards in juried exhibitions. Her first book, A Painter’s Musings (2021), dealt with four aspects of painting: Process, Psychological, Practical, and Philosophical. RAAC’s Claudia Mitchell Fund provided a grant to make possible her second book, 12 Months on 12 Acres (October 2023), a sketchbook of all that she can see from the twelve acres surrounding her studio. Vision & Verse from Virginia’s Countryside, a collaborative book with Elizabeth Keeler, was released in 2024. From Omega to Alpha, which encourages painters to relinquish tightness and fear should be released in time for the tour in 2025.

In addition to paintings, books and scarves will be available for the tour.

Adjacent to the studio will be Betsy Brantley, who participated with Ruthie in RAAC’s Creative to Creative. Betsy pioneered TOADSTOOL, a cottage business of old Virginia bricks covered with scrumptious fabric. Mainly used as doorstops, they can be used for other purposes such as bookends and paperweights.
