WHAT’S HAPPENING IN MAY WITH FALL ART TOUR VENUES AND ARTISTS!

April showers bring May flowers! Come on out to Rappahannock County this month to enjoy all our beautiful corner of Virginia has to offer!

This month, we have new work from our art tour artists, all our galleries are open, and it’s a fantastic month to come out to the country to enjoy our stunning views and beautiful weather while strolling our small towns, enjoying a wine tasting at one of our many award-winning wineries, eating at our locally-owned restaurants (have you tried Paddy O’s yet?), sampling our local distilleries and microbreweries, and supporting our local shops! So many wonderful things to see and do; make it a weekend and stay at one of our many lodging options! Our Plan Your Visit page has all the information you need.

“Unexpected Light”
Series Update

Every day nature treats us to an incredible array of ever-changing light. It can be subtle, like the silver luminosity of a grey day, or it can be dramatic, like a fiery, high-cloud sunset. “Unexpected Light” explores light in nature and how it defines what we see and influences what we feel. I began the series last November and it is still a work in progress. The series has grown from the initial 8 images that previewed in the February edition of “Visions 2022″ to the 24 now available for viewing on his website.
