It’s a great time to come out to Rappahannock County! Spring is on the way, and the air has hints of sunshine and warmth, as the colors of spring begin creeping up the hills. This month there is a new exhibit along with an opening reception, and new featured artists in our galleries.

Enjoy a wonderful meal or a drink at our local coffee shops, taverns, and cocktail bars, after an invigorating hike in the Shenandoah or walk around our small towns. Sample award-winning wines, micro-brews, and whisky, and visit all the amazing shops in Washington and Sperryville. See a show at the Theater in Little Washington or the Castleton Festival.

There are lots of resources here on our website under the About Rappahannock to help you plan your visit.

Rappahannock County is so beautiful in March, as spring arrives in the Shenandoah National Park and beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. It’s a wonderful time to visit the beautiful and special jewel that is Rappahannock County.
